How it works
Pick your dates
Tap days on a calendar, whole days or an evening with times. Add every weekend until a date in one go.
Share the link
Send it in the group chat. Anyone with the link can answer — no signup, no app to install.
See who's free
Everyone ticks the dates that work for them. The dates most people can make are marked best.
What you get
Everything a group needs to settle on a date, and nothing it doesn't.
- No accounts, ever
- Organizers and participants alike just type a name. Your browser keeps a private key so you can come back and change your answer.
- Days or evenings
- Propose whole days, a long weekend, or a timed slot like a Friday dinner. Options can overlap — a weekend and the dinner inside it.
- Every weekend until…
- One shortcut adds each Friday-to-Sunday up to the day you choose, ready to edit or remove one by one.
- List or calendar
- Participants tick dates from a simple list, or see every option laid out on a month calendar.
- Results at a glance
- A grid of who can make what, with a count per date and the best ones highlighted. Results unlock once you've answered.
- Change your mind
- Open the same link again and your answer is there, ready to update. Plans change; so can your ticks.
- Google Calendar, if you want it
- Connect it while answering and the days you're already busy are unticked for you. Entirely optional.
Why Goussdle asks for Google Calendar access
When you answer a doodle, Goussdle can offer to check your Google Calendar so you don't have to look up every date by hand. If you connect it, any proposed date that clashes with an event you've already got is unticked for you before you save.
It is optional: without it, you tick your dates yourself, exactly the same way. Organizers never need to connect anything.
The two permissions requested
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly“See the list of Google calendars you're subscribed to” — To know which of your calendars you have ticked as visible in Google Calendar, so a shared or work calendar is checked too.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly“View events on all your calendars” — To read the start, end and title of the events on those calendars around the doodle's dates, and show you which ones clash.
Read-only. Goussdle only requests the two read-only permissions above; it cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendar, and it cannot see your calendar settings or sharing.
Only what the doodle needs. It reads the events on your visible calendars around the doodle's dates, compares them with the proposed dates, and shows the result to you alone.
Nothing is stored. Your events are never written to Goussdle's database or shown to the other participants — only your ticks are saved, and only when you press save.
Short-lived. The access token sits in a secure cookie on your browser for about an hour; Goussdle never asks Google for long-term (offline) access.
You stay in control. Every tick is still yours to change before you save, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.
Revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The full details are in the privacy policy.
